Turning carpets is a group dynamics game and coordination game for groups of a number of people fitting right onto one carpet.

Equipment

One team needs one carpet. There should be right enough space on the carpet for all group members to stand on.

Procedure

The task is easy to explain, but hard to put into practice: All team players position themselves on the carpet. Subsequently, they have to turn the carpet upside down without any team member touching the floor (the upper surface should then be reversed, facing the floor). Further aids, such as switching over to other objects (e.g. chairs), are also disallowed.
