Acoustic Kim for pairs
Type: kim's game, icebreaker
Number of players: larger groups
Location: everywhere
Equipment: pen and paper
Duration: several minutes
Preparation: write "sounds" on paper

The acoustic Kim's game for pairs (also called: farm) is a Kim's game for larger groups. Note that it could get loud during the game! The game can also be used as an ice breaker game.

Equipment

  • each player needs a small (paper) card that has some sound (or the thing that produces it) written on it. There are always two (or more?) cards with the same sound.

Procedure

The cards are shuffled and distributed to the players. They spread around the room. Once the game is started, everybody continuously generates the sound as written on his card and tries to find the partner (or the group) that is making the same sound. As soon as all pairs or groups have found each other, the game ends. The pairs or groups can then be used for the next activities.
