Mummy
Type: coordination game
Number of players: any number, pairs
Location: almost everywhere
Equipment: rolls of toilet paper, or newspaper and adhesive tape
Duration: a few minutes
Preparation: none

Mummy is a coordination game for pairs. It is often played at children's parties.

Equipment

  • each team needs at least one roll of toilet paper (depending on the length of the paper, two or three rolls might be advisable). If the game is played by adults, expect to need more rolls.
  • As an alternative, the game can also be played with newspaper and adhesive tape.

Procedure

The players form pairs and select one of them to be the mummy. As soon as the game is started, the other player starts to wrap the mummy in toilet paper. He has to be careful not to tear the paper and to wrap in the mummy as good as possible. The head (or at least, mouth, nose, and eyes) may be spared of course.

The team that manages to do that fastest, wins the game.
